Are you interested in getting a New Mexico medical alert system? Prime Medical Alert operates around the entire United States and has many clients in medical alert system clients in New Mexico. A special note about New Mexico, is that we are directly linked into their emergency responders. This means instead of going through 911, and having 911 dispatch, our facility is capable of a direct dispatch.

As soon as the client hits the necklace or bracelet button, our certified EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) operators come on the main unit or the necklace (depending upon if you have our Traditional system or the LifeSentry) and speak to the client. They will ask the client if they are having an emergency. If the client answers yes and would like a dispatch, our operators can send out the ambulance, fire department or police department. If a dispatch does occur, our operators notify emergency contacts. If the client is not having a medical emergency and only wants to notify emergency contacts, we can do that as well. Also, if the client is unable to communicate with the operator, the operator will disconnect from the New Mexico medical alert system and try to call the home phone. If still no response, they will follow the plan set up upon signup. This can include a direct dispatch and then notification of the emergency contacts or notification of the emergency contacts and ask them what to do first (if we can’t get a hold of the emergency contacts we recommend a dispatch in this situation).

When looking into New Mexico medical alert systems, ours comes with a free lockbox (securely holds a spare key) and that is with any new signup, not just a yearly signup. We provide high quality lockboxes; the same ones the realtors use. We keep the lockbox combination on file and if we have to dispatch, we provide the combination to the emergency responders. This prevents them from having to break down the door or break out a window to gain access to the home.

All of our bracelets and necklaces are water resistant; this means that they work in the shower, bath, while gardening, washing the dishes, etc. A lot of our clients accidents happen around water and especially with a New Mexico medical alert system where gardening and water based activities are common, it is especially important to have a water resistant medical alert bracelet or necklace.
