No Landline? No Problem.
Can I use a medical alarm without phone service? We get this question a lot. In answer to this question, Prime Medical Alert offers several options for those who have no home or landline telephone connection or have a true VOIP connection. Listed on the right are compatible service providers. If your phone service is in the list of compatible service providers, there is no need to notify our representatives.
If your phone service is not listed, ask one of our agents and they can easily verify that it works as is. As said above, a home phone line is not a requirement and if you do not have a home phone line just let us know and our agents will make sure the medical alert system is configured properly.
The eResponder by default does not require a phone line and the user is able to speak directly through the necklace. It includes built in location technology to help find the user if they are outside of their home.
