Most people are looking for the all in one measure determinant to tell them if they are in good shape or could use to lose some weight. There really is no better or worse measurement except body fat percentage. BMI and pretty much every other number determinant are irrelevant. They speak to the middle of the road and are a general prediction, but for those that really want to know whether they are in shape, are overweight or are just where they are supposed to be, get a body fat percentage check.
