Carbon Monoxide Detector

Carbon Monoxide detector to go with our Traditional Medical AlertThe Supervised Photoelectric Carbon Monoxide Detector is a UL listed, single station, carbon monoxide alarm with a built-in supervised transmitter. It is compatible with Traditional PERS systems. The Supervised Photoelectric Carbon Monoxide Detector provides a warning to alert against both the acute and chronic effects of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning.

If carbon monoxide (CO) is detected, the Traditional PERS dials out and notifies our certified EMT operators that action is necessary. A loud siren goes off on the main medical alert unit and an 85 dBA sounder will come from the CO detector to notify the client.

Depending upon the situation and the instruction provided, we can notify the client and dispatch the fire department directly if no response or if the client instructs us to; we can also notify any emergency contacts depending upon the instructions provided to us during setup.

The wireless signal will be repeated every 10 seconds until it is reset by our emergency operators or the fire department. The 3-volt lithium battery in the Supervised Photoelectric Carbon Monoxide Detector will last approximately six years before needing to be changed.

We recommend at least one carbon monoxide detector and many of our clients have multiple detectors in the different rooms of their house.
